Appointment of Issuing Officer for the Purpose of Issuing Licenses to Fish for Trout under the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929.

PURSUANT to the provisions of Regulation 2 (2) of the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, doth hereby authorize

Walter Henry Swanger, Turangi,

to be an issuing officer for the purpose of issuing licenses to fish for trout under the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929, vice W. J. K. Taylor.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointments in the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy :—

Captain I. G. Glennie, A.D.C., Royal Navy (Commodore 2nd Class), H.M.S. “Achilles” in command. Appointment as Commodore Commanding New Zealand Squadron lapses, from date of transfer. Date to be reported.

Captain J. W. Rivett-Carnac, D.S.C., Royal Navy, H.M.S. “Leander” in command in continuation of present appointment and as Commodore 2nd Class Commanding New Zealand Squadron vice Glennie, from date of transfer. Date to be reported.

Commander F. B. Lloyd, Royal Navy, H.M.S. “Achilles” appointment as Squadron Navigating Officer and Staff Officer (Operations) lapses, from date of transfer. Date to be reported.

Lieutenant-Commander C. W. M. Vereker, Royal Navy, H.M.S. “Leander”, and as Squadron Navigating Officer and Staff Officer (Operations) from date of transfer. Date to be reported.

Lieutenant-Commander P. Dawnay, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. “Leander” vice Culme-Seymour and as Squadron Signal and W/T Officer in continuation of present appointment, from date of transfer. Date to be reported.
