SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District in the Borough of Whangarei containing by admeasurement 1 rood 10·86 perches, more or less, situated in Block IX, Whangarei Survey District, being the Railway land in Proclamation No. 5943, and part of the Railway land in Proclamation No. 520, Auckland Registry, bounded commencing at the north-western corner of the Railway land in Proclamation No. 5943, thence towards the north-west generally by part Lot 180 on D.P. 598, following a line bearing 60° 39', 150·0 links ; towards the north-east generally by a drainage easement, part Lot 180 aforesaid, and part of the Railway land in Proclamation No. 520, following a line bearing 150° 39', 211·77 links ; towards the south-east generally by part of the Railway land in Proclamation No. 520, following a line bearing 240° 26', 149·66 links ; and towards the south-west generally by a public road, 86·69 links and 125·63 links, be all the aforesaid measurements more or less.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked Mines N. 6/4/31, deposited in the Head Office of the Mines Department, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of November, 1938.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portions of a provisional State forest set apart by Proclamation dated the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the twenty-fifth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes ; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.


SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL those areas in Thames County containing together 15 acres 1 rood 3 perches, more or less, situated in Block XII, Tairua Survey District, being part of the area of 33,200 acres proclaimed provisional State forest by a notice in the New Zealand Gazette, 1920, page 924, being formerly parts of Whangamata No. 1 Block, and more particularly described as follows :

All that area bounded towards the north-east generally by Section 2, Block XII, Tairua Survey District, and a reserve along the foreshore of Whangamata Harbour; towards the south-east generally by the Whangamata Harbour, and towards the south-west and north-west generally by a public road.

Also all that area bounded towards the north-east generally by the Whangamata Harbour; towards the south-east generally by Te Weiti Stream; and towards the south-west and north-west generally by a public road.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/92/91A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of November, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.


SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Tuapeka County, containing by admeasurement 55 acres and 3 roods, more or less, being Section 10, Block XXI, Crookston Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the east by the river-bank reserve of the Clutha River, 10722·6 links; towards the south by a public road, 115·8 links; and towards the west, the north-west, and south-west by a public road, 6889·5, 180·1, and 3092·7 links respectively: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 204/48, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of November, 1938.

As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 204/47, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of November, 1938.

As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 125/59, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of November, 1938.
