Land proclaimed as Street, and Street closed, in the Borough
of Te Kuiti, and the Land contained in the Street closed
added to a Public Domain.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere
Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land in
the Borough of Te Kuiti described in the First Schedule
hereto; and do hereby proclaim as closed the street described
in the Second Schedule hereto; and I do also hereby declare
the land contained in the street closed which intersects the
portion of the Te Kuiti Domain described in the Third
Schedule hereto, to be added to the said Te Kuiti Domain.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as
street: 1 acre 0 roods 12·8 perches.
Being portion of Section 8; coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 1 acre
0 roods 12·8 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Te Kuiti 2a No. 1a Section 1
Block and Sections 7 and 8; coloured green.
All situated in Block IV, Otanake Survey District (Auckland
R.D.), (Borough of Te Kuiti). (S.O. 29814.)
All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 100898,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Borough of
Te Kuiti, containing by admeasurement 16 acres 2 roods
12 perches, more or less, being Sections 7 and 8, Block IV,
Otanake Survey District, such area having been declared part
of the Te Kuiti Domain by Order in Council dated the 16th
day of December, 1936, and published in New Zealand Gazette
No. 91, of the 17th day of the same month, at page 2452.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of
November, 1938.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell,
Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of street
described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 4 acres
0 roods 25 perches.
Situated in Blocks VI and VII, Tauranga Survey District,
(Mount Maunganui Town District), (Auckland R.D.). (S.O.
29094.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 100392,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of

Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in
Woodland Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 37 acres.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 16 and 17.
Situated in Block I, Woodland Survey District (Otago R.D.).

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 100811,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of

Altering the Boundaries of the Otago Mining District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section eight of the Mining Act, 1926,
it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor-General
may from time to time by Proclamation alter the boundaries
of any mining district: And whereas it is desirable that the
land specified in the Schedule hereto shall, subject to all
existing registered mining privileges, be excluded from the
Otago Mining District:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section eight of the Mining Act, 1926, and of all
other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, do hereby, as from the date of the publication hereof
in the New Zealand Gazette, alter the boundaries of the Otago
Mining District by excluding therefrom the land particularly
described in the Schedule hereto, subject to all existing
registered mining privileges.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by
admeasurement 16 acres and 1 rood, more or less, being
Section 17, Block X, Kurow Survey District. Bounded
towards the north-west by a public road, 843·7 links; towards
the north-east by a public road, 1109·0 links; towards the
south-east by a public road, 548·2, 954·1, and 345·3 links;
and towards the west by Section 3, 1558·7 links; be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked N. 6/4/18, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Mines, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of
November, 1938.

District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon
me by section eight of the Mining Act, 1926, and of
every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf,
I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby as from the date
of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette alter
the boundaries of the Puhi Puhi Mining District by including
therein all that area of land described in the Schedule hereto.
