A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in the Borough of Featherston described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the street described in the Second Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL those areas in the Auckland Land District, Thames County, containing by admeasurement a total of 29 acres 0 roods 23·1 perches, more or less, being formerly portions of a public road closed by a Proclamation dated 20th June, 1938, and described as follows:—

Revocation of the Reservation of Portion of a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921-22, and pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses of Parliament, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke (so far only as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto) the Proclamation of the twenty-seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, whereby the said land (with certain other land) was set apart as a permanent State forest, and declare that the reservation thereby effected is (so far as aforesaid) revoked accordingly.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Thames County, containing by admeasurement 59 acres 1 rood 9 perches, more or less, being part of Section 8, Block XVI, Tairua Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the point where the northern boundary of Section 9 of the said Block XVI meets a public road; thence towards the south and south-east generally by the said Section 9 by lines bearing 270° 05′ 30″ 837·8 links, and 224° 55′ 1763·6 links; towards the south-west, north-west, and north-east by the other part of Section 8, by lines bearing 325° 05′ 723·0 links, 337° 34′ 159·1 links, 333° 32′ 1250·3 links, 49° 09′ 1418·7 links, 73° 41′ 309·4 links, 63° 09′ 364·0 links, 63° 10′ 483·8 links, 116° 03′ 655·4 links, 152° 55′ 30″ 693·2 links, 152° 03′ 289·2 links, and 151° 56′ 305·4 links to a public road; and towards the south-east and north-east by right lines 141·9 links, 401·6 links, and 237·6 links: be all of the aforesaid measurements more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 23/47, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plans S.O. 27060 and 29736.)
