In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of R. McGaffin Ltd. (in Liquidation).

Pursuant to section 241 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that the statutory final meeting of the creditors of R. McGaffin Ltd. (in liquidation), will be held in the Chamber of Commerce Hall, Karamu Road, Hastings, on Thursday, 1st December, 1938, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

Business—Presentation of liquidator’s final accounts and reports.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of The New City Hotel Company, Limited.

Notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 3rd day of November, 1938, presented to the said Court by Alexander McDonald, of Christchurch, Clerk, and Nellie Blake, of Christchurch, Widow, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Christchurch, on Monday, the 28th day of November, 1938, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of the Kaihu Valley Land Company, Limited.

Notice is hereby given that order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 11th day of November, 1938, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-mentioned company from £20,000 to £14,062 10s. and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute were registered with the Registrar of Companies on the 15th day of November, 1938, and notice is further given that the said minute is in the words and figures following:—

“ The capital of the Kaihu Valley Land Company, Limited, henceforth is £14,062 10s., divided into 37,500 shares of 7s. 6d. each reduced from £20,000 divided into 37,500 ordinary shares of 10s. each and 1,250 “ B ” cumulative preference shares of £1 each. At the time of the registration of this minute the whole of the 37,500 shares are deemed to be fully paid.”
