A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road in Waiwera Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 0 roods 15 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Allotment M. 153, Waiwera Parish.
Situated in Blocks VII and XI, Waiwera Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28577.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 100670, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of November, 1938.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 2 roods 12·8 perches.
Adjoining Section 5, Block II, Ngongotaha Survey District. (S.O. plan 29678.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/869E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2827, and thereon coloured green.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1743, set apart by Proclamation dated the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and gazetted on the ninth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing 198 acres 2 roods, more or less, being portion of Provisional State Forest 1743, and being formerly portion of Section 3292 and Crown land situated in Block IV, Waimea Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-western corner of Section 1922 and proceeding along the southern boundary of Section 3292 for 3300 links; thence bearing 326° 30′ for 5050 links to a point on the northern boundary of said Section 3292; thence along the last-mentioned boundary for 3680 links to the Paroa–Marsden Road; thence following the western side of the said road to the north-eastern corner of Section 1922; thence along the northern and western boundaries of the said Section 1922 to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/826A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of November, 1938.

Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL those areas of Crown land and settlement land in the Nelson Land District, situated in the Murchison County, containing 10,131 acres 2 roods, more or less, and more particularly described as follows:—
All that area of settlement land containing 3,341 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Sections 4s and 5s, Tutaki Settlement, and situated in Block XVI, Tutaki Survey District, excepting thereout a stock track 25 links wide passing through Section 5s.
Also all that area of settlement land containing 3,117 acres, more or less, being Sections 6s and 8s, Matakitaki Settlement, and situated in Blocks III, IV, VII, and VIII, Matakitaki Survey District.
Also all that area of Crown land situated in Blocks XI, XV, and XVI, Tutaki Survey District, containing 3,205 acres, more or less, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by part of Section 3, Block XII, Tutaki Survey District, the abutment of a road, and again by part of Section 3 aforesaid; towards the north-east by Section 1s, Tutaki Settlement; and towards the south-east and west by Provisional State Forest No. 94 (Gazette, 1920, page 932—19,780 acres).
Also all that area of Crown land situated in Blocks II and III, Matakitaki Survey District, containing 128 acres, more or less, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by Provisional State Forest No. 94 (Gazette, 1920, page 932—19,780 acres); towards the east by Sections 6s and 1s, Matakitaki Settlement; and towards the south-west by Section 13, Block II, Matakitaki Survey District.
Also all that area of Crown land situated in Block VIII, Matakitaki Survey District, containing 340 acres, more or less, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-west by Section 8s, Matakitaki Settlement; towards the north-east by Section 3s, Matakitaki Settlement; towards the east by a road along the western bank of Nardoo Creek; and towards the south-west by part of State Forest No. 88 (Gazette, 1935, page 174).
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 114/5, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of November, 1938.
