Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Ohakune Village Settlement, Wellington Land District.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of October, 1938.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for gravel purposes :
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of that portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for gravel purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Borough of Ohakune, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being part of Section 7, Ohakune Village Settlement, Block V, Karioi Survey District, and bounded as follows : Towards the north-east, south-east, and south-west by right lines commencing at a point on the Mangawhero Terrace distant 251.57 links from the westernmost corner of Section 9, Ohakune Village Settlement, and proceeding thence by lines bearing 131° 44' 15" for a distance of 276.99 links, 221° 44’ 15” distance 181.89 links, and 311° 44’ 15” distance 270.92 links to the Mangawhero Terrace ; thence in a north-easterly direction by the said terrace for distances of 45.41 links and 136.63 links to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan numbered 20157, lodged in the Wellington District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon bordered red.

Recreation Reserve in Westland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of October, 1938.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Westland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Taylorville Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Lots 117 to 132 (inclusive), D.P. 81, Town of Taylorville, being portion of Sections 113, 114, and 126, Square 119, Block IX, Mawheranui Survey District, situated in the Borough of Brunner, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 12, folio 256, Westland Registry.

Vesting a Reserve in the South Canterbury Hospital Board.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of October, 1938.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a hospital-site : And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the South Canterbury Hospital Board :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the South Canterbury Hospital Board, in trust, for a hospital-site.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 0.6 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve Number 344, situated in the Borough of Timaru, and bounded as follows : Towards the north by Queen Street, 637.79 links ; towards the east by High Street, 146.00 links and 557.47 links ; towards the south and west by other parts of Reserve Number 344, 664.30 links and 696.60 links respectively. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/8/7A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
All that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 8.3 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve Number 344, situated in the Borough of Timaru, and being identical with Lot 2, D.P. 10972, Canterbury Land Registry: Bounded towards the north by Queen Street, 31.76 links; towards the east and south by other part of Reserve Number 344, 696.60 links and 43.63 links respectively; and again towards the west by other part of Reserve Number 344, 594.75 links and 101.85 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/8/7B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered yellow.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Hillersden Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of October, 1938.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Charles William Crispin,
Clements William Eden,
John Alexander Fowler,
Leslie John Anderson, and
George Howard Weir Broadbridge
to be the Hillersden Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Wairau Valley Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
