Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block XXXIX,
Tokomairiro Survey District, acquired for a Railway.
[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described
in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for the
Waitaki-Bluff Railway and is not now required for such
purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New
Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be
maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as
other public highways are controlled and maintained by the
said Board.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with:
38 perches.
Being railway land, being formerly part Section 1 of 9 and
closed road.
Situated in Block XXXIX, Tokomairiro Survey District
(Otago R.D.). (S.O. T 242.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 99120,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of
October, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land
mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
Waitaki-Bluff Railway.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 roods
25-3 perches.
Being portion of road.
Situated in Block XXXIX, Tokomairiro Survey District
(Otago R.D.). (S.O. T 242.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 99120, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of
