NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of section 241 of the Companies Act, 1933, a general meeting of the company will be held in the registered office, 67 Shortland Street, Auckland, on Monday, 7th November, 1938, at 11 a.m.

Business--(a) To receive the statement of accounts of the liquidator and to hear his explanation thereof.

(b) To direct the liquidator by extraordinary resolution as to the disposal of the books, accounts, and documents of the company.

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and of THE THAMES THEATRE COMPANY, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

TAKE notice that the final general meeting of the above-named company will be held at my office, Pollen Street, Thames, on the 28th day of October, 1938, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having laid before it an account of the winding up showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of.

ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE PHARMACY BOARD OF NEW ZEALAND.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is my intention to proceed on Monday, the 14th day of November, 1938, to the election of eight registered pharmaceutical chemists of New Zealand to serve as members of the Pharmacy Board of New Zealand in the place of the members who retire on the 31st day of December, 1938, and are eligible for re-election. Members will require to be elected as follows :—

Two members for the Central District, to be elected by the registered pharmaceutical chemists residing within the District of Wellington, the boundaries of which are the same as those of the Provincial Districts of Wellington, Hawke's Bay, Nelson, and Marlborough. The retiring members are COLIN McDougall and ANDREW Doig, who are eligible for re-election.

Two members for the District of Auckland, to be elected by the registered pharmaceutical chemists residing within the District of Auckland, the boundaries of which are the same as those of the Provincial Districts of Auckland and Taranaki. The retiring members are HAROLD TREVELYAN KING and EDWARD SMITH, who are eligible for re-election.

Two members for the District of Canterbury, to be elected by the registered pharmaceutical chemists residing within the District of Canterbury, the boundaries of which are the same as those of the Provincial Districts of Canterbury and Westland. The retiring members are DOUGLAS SCOTT DODDS and ARTHUR JOSEPH DERBRIDGE, who are eligible for re-election.

Two members for the District of Otago, to be elected by the registered pharmaceutical chemists residing within the District of Otago. The retiring members are JAMES WATERS and ROBERT MERRETT WILKINSON, who are eligible for re-election.

Nominations will close at the office of the Registrar, 59 Cambridge Terrace, Wellington, C. 3, at 4 p.m. on Friday, the 28th day of October, 1938.

Forms of nomination may be obtained on application to the Registrar or the Deputy Registrars.

Meetings of Members and Creditors.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of SYMONDS BROTHERS, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

A MEETING of members of the above-named company will be held at the office of the undersigned, 83 High Street, Lower Hutt, on Wednesday, the 26th day of October, 1938, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of receiving the liquidator's statement of account and with the view to bringing the winding up to a close.

The above meeting will be followed by a meeting of creditors called for the same purpose at the hour of 11.30 a.m.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between ANTHONY DIVICH, Restaurant-proprietor, and MATE DIVICH, Labourer, both of Auckland, carrying on business as Restaurant-proprietors at Nos. 91 and 93 Victoria Street West, Auckland, under the style of "The Bohemian Cafe" has been dissolved as on and from the 31st day of December, 1937. The said business will be continued by the said Anthony Divich alone.

I, JAMES RAYMOND SELWYN, of 10 Onepu Road, Kilbirnie, Wellington, E. 3, Printer, formerly known as JAMES SELLWOOD, hereby give notice that I have abandoned and forsaken the said name of James Sellwood and desire and require to be known as James Raymond Selwyn, and in evidence and in support of such change of name I have deposited in the Registry of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Wellington a deed-poll bearing date the 7th day of October, 1938.

MEDICAL REGISTRATION.

I, MITFORD WILLIAM ALFRED COWLES, M.B., Ch.B. (N.Z.), 1938, of 19 Arawa Road, Hataitai, Wellington, now residing in Wellington, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 10th November next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Department of Health at Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 4th day of October, 1938, the members of the above-named company passed the following special resolution :—

"Resolved as a special resolution that the company, having disposed of its assets and having ceased to carry on business be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. GEORGE WILLIAM JACK BELL, of Dunedin, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company."
