Notice of Intention to take Land in Block III, Kapiti Survey District, for the Purposes of an Aerodrome.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of an aerodrome—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Paraparaumu, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 100976, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Borough of New Lynn.

Wellington, 8th October, 1938.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be excluded from the Borough of New Lynn and included in the Glen Eden Town District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

AREA PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM BOROUGH OF NEW LYNN AND INCLUDED IN GLEN EDEN TOWN DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of part Lot 22, on L.T. Plan 20071, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of part Lot 22, the abutment of a public road, the south-eastern boundaries of Lots, 23, 24, 25, and 26, L.T. Plan 20071 aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of Section 158, Parish of Waikomiti; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Section 165, Parish of Waikomiti, to the southern boundary of the Auckland-Kaipara Railway; thence by the southern boundary of the Auckland-Kaipara Railway to the western boundary of Section 161, Parish of Waikomiti; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the westernmost corner of said Section 161; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of said Section 161, to the easternmost corner of part Lot 22 on L.T. Plan 20071 aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued and that no postal packet addressed to the said person (either by her own or any fictitious or assumed name) or directed to the address mentioned in the Schedule hereunder without a name shall be registered or forwarded by the post-office of New Zealand.

Temporary Alteration in Position of Buoy.

Temporary position: Lat., 39° 28′ 15″ S.; long., 176° 55′ 09″ E.

Details: The Auckland rock lighted buoy will shortly be removed to the above position during dredging operations.

NOTE.—Masters must pass westward of the buoy before coming on to the line of the wharf leading beacons.
