IN the notice appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 71
of the 22nd September, 1938, at page 2088, "Excluding
Streets and Roads from Limitation as to Speed imposed by
the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, Section 3," in the
Schedule "Situated within Havelock Town District" for
"with" in the eighth line read "within," and in the Schedule
"Situated within Outram Town District" for "Otautau" in
the seventh line read "Outram."

Additional Land at New Plymouth taken for the Purposes of the
Foxton - New Plymouth Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, con-
venience, and enjoyment of the Foxton - New
Plymouth Railway to take further land at New Plymouth in
addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the
said railway:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works
Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 rood 1.04 perches.
Section 838, D.P. 1863, Town of New Plymouth.
Situated in the Borough of New Plymouth.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5364, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of
October, 1938.

Punakaiki Survey District, Buller County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell,
Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Punakaiki
Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and
also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the
Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road:
1 acre 1 rood 2.6 perches.
Being portion of Subdivision 1 of Section 2590; coloured red.
