TRUSTEE, EXECUTOR, AND AGENCY BRANCH.

In the matter of the New Zealand Insurance Company Trust Act, 1916.

Annual Statement.

I, ROBERT KING, Trust Manager, do solemnly and sincerely declare:—

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.
  2. That the capital of the company is £1,500,000 divided into 1,500,000 shares of £1 each.
  3. That the number of shares issued is 1,500,000.
  4. That calls to the amount of £1 per share have been made, under which the sum of £1,500,000 has been received.
  5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates is £13,977,944 0s. 6d.
  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates is £13,971,894 6s. 10d.
  7. That the amount of the balance held to the credit of estates under administration is £6,049, 13s. 8d.
  8. That the liabilities of the company at the close of its financial year (to wit, the 31st day of May, 1938) were:—

Debts owing to sundry persons by the company, viz.:—

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

MEDICAL REGISTRATION.

I, WILLIAM MAXWELL MANCHESTER, M.B., B.S., University of New Zealand, 1938, now residing in Dunedin, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 17th October next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Department of Health at Dunedin.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between ALVIN WARD and DOROTHY MAY WARD carrying on the business of Florists and Fruiterers at No. 790 Colombo Street, Christchurch, has been dissolved as from the 5th day of September, 1938, and that the business lately carried on by the partnership will as from that date be carried on at the same address by the said Alvin Ward.

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at 20 Brandon Street, Wellington, on Thursday, the 6th day of October, 1938, at 10 o’clock a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the result of the winding up, and of determining the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator shall be disposed of.

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Messrs. H. J. TOPLISS and V. A. NORRISH, of Christchurch, A. H. MACKERELL, of Invercargill, and S. BOWMAN, of Dunedin, are appointed liquidators of the company.”

Before the Honourable Mr. Justice Northcroft on Friday, the 9th day of September, 1938.

UPON reading the petition of the above-named company filed herein and the affidavit filed in support thereto, and upon hearing Mr. R. J. Loughnan of counsel for the petitioner, this Court doth order:—

  1. That the reduction of the capital of the above-named company effected by the special resolution of the said company set out in the said petition filed herewith which resolution was in the words and figures following:—

“That the subscribed share capital of the company now standing at sixteen thousand pounds (£16,000) be reduced to twelve thousand pounds (£12,000) by the reduction of twenty shillings per share to fifteen shillings per share on each of its said shares.”

be and the same is hereby confirmed.

  1. That the minute proposed to be registered with the Registrar of Companies set out in the Schedule hereto be approved.

  2. That notice of the registration by the Registrar of Companies of this order and of the said minute so approved be published once in the New Zealand Gazette within fourteen days after such registration.

SCHEDULE.

The capital of W. E. Munday and Sons, Limited, is twelve thousand pounds (£12,000), divided into sixteen thousand (16,000) shares of fifteen shillings (15s.) each all of which are fully paid up.
