NOTICE is hereby given that the matter mentioned in the Schedule hereunder written will be heard by the Native Land Court sitting at Hawera on the 11th October, 1938, or as soon thereafter as the business of the Court will allow.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee.
NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921-22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed John William Durey Mardon, of the Public Trust Office, Christchurch, to be Deputy of the District Public Trustee, Blenheim, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous warrants appointing any Deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the New Zealand Federated Painters’ and Decorators’ Industrial Association of Workers, registered number 567, situated at Wellington, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial association after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

Position: Lat., 42° 26' S.; long., 171° 13' E. (approx.).
Details: The occulting light at the entrance is being replaced for about two months by a fixed white light. No further notice will be given.
