Lands reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 16, Block VII, Wakapuaka Survey District: Area, 89 acres, more or less.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 220 acres 1 rood 30 perches, more or less, being Section 5 and part of Section 4, Block VII, and Section 1, Block XI, Wakapuaka Survey District, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 82, folio 45, Nelson Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of September, 1938.

Revoking the Reservation over Portions of a Scenic Reserve in the Marlborough Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto are portions of a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said lands are no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 26 acres, more or less, being part of Section 36, Block I, Wakamarina Survey District, bounded as follows: Towards the north generally by Crown land, 2941·7 links; towards the east by Section 36, Block I aforesaid; and towards the south generally by the Nelson—Blenheim Main Highway.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 5 acres 0 roods 19 perches, more or less, being part of Section 36 aforesaid, bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by Crown land, 2106 links; towards the east generally by Section 45, Block I aforesaid, 380·5 links; and towards the south-east by part Section 36 aforesaid, 521·3 links, 924·7 links, and 1193·9 links.
Be all the aforesaid measurements a little more or less.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/207A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of September, 1938.

Appointment of Adjustment Commission.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of September, 1938.

HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section twenty-four of the Mortgagors and Lessees Rehabilitation Act, 1936, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint an Adjustment Commission to be known as the Marlborough (No. 2) Adjustment Commission, and doth appoint George Milne Spence, Esquire, of Blenheim, Errol Reid, Esquire, of Blenheim, and A. R. Graham, Esquire, of Blenheim, to be members of such Commission, the said George Milne Spence, Esquire, to be Chairman thereof.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby grant to the trustees late Robert H. Rhodes, of Blue Cliffs, St. Andrews, South Canterbury, Farmers (hereinafter referred to as “the licensees”), a license, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to obstruct, impound, or divert the waters of an unnamed stream situated in Section 16689, Block IX, Otaio Survey District, in the Land District of Canterbury, and to take and use therefrom for the purposes hereinafter set forth a stream of water not exceeding one-sixth of a cubic foot per second at any one time.
