Additional Land taken for the Wellington–Napier Railway (at Waipukurau Overbridge).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Wellington–Napier Railway.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 1 rood 24·6 perches.
Being portion of road.

Situated in Block XV, Waipukurau Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1179.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98439, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of September, 1938.

Additional Land taken for the Purposes of a Technical School in the City of Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a technical school; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 100440, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of September, 1938.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block XV, Waipukurau Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the Wellington–Napier Railway, and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 3·2 perches.
Being portion of railway land.

Situated in Block XV, Waipukurau Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1179.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98439, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of public reserve set apart: 2 roods 7 perches.
Being portion of Allotment 168, Kihikihi Town Redoubt Reserve (Gazette, 1868, page 403).

Situated in Block VII, Puniu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28120.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 93138, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of September, 1938.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road in Block IV, Halswell Survey District—viz., deviations of the Lyttelton–Motukarara Main Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
