THE AVONDALE TIMBER CO., LTD.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
THE creditors of the above-named company are required
on or before the 15th September, 1938, to send their
names and addresses and particulars of their debts or claims
to the undersigned liquidator of the said company, or if
required in writing by the liquidator to come in and prove
such debts or claims, or in default thereof they will be excluded
from the benefit of such distribution made before such debts
are proved.
Correspondence should be addressed to the liquidator at
the registered office of the company, Racecourse Parade,
Avondale, Auckland.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore
subsisting between SADIE SALEK, of Brighton,
Melbourne, Victoria, Widow, and THOMAS GEORGE RICKETTS,
of Wellington, Master Printer, carrying on business under
the style or firm-name of “Globe Printing Coy.” at 1 Holland
Street, in the City of Wellington, as Printers, Counterbook
and Tag Manufacturers, and Rotary-printing Manufacturers,
has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day
of March, 1938.
The assets of the said business have been acquired by the
Globe Printing Company, Limited, which will carry on the
business at the same address, and which will meet all
liabilities and is entitled to receive all moneys due to the
late partnership.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public
Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County
Council proposes under the provisions of the above-
mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work—namely,
the establishment of a quarry—and for the purpose of such
public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are
required to be taken: And notice is hereby given that a
plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the
public office of the Clerk to the said Council situate at Kawa-
kawa and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons
during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing,
and send the same, within forty days from the first publication
of this notice, to the County Clerk, at the Council Chambers
at Kawakawa aforesaid.
THE SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land situate in the County of Bay of
Islands and North Auckland Land District containing
1 acre 2 roods 10 perches, more or less, being part of a block
of land called Kohatu-O-te Haua Block in Block XV, Omapere
Survey District, as the same is delineated in S.O. plan 29753,
and thereon coloured red.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting of the
above-named company duly convened and held on
the 24th day of August, 1938, the following resolutions were
passed:—
(1) “That the primary and paramount object for which
the company was established having been achieved the
company be wound up voluntarily by the members.
(2) “That Mr. IRVINE ALFRED HART be and he is hereby
appointed liquidator of the company.”

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the
matter of COOKE’S RITZ, LTD.
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 5th day of September,
1938, the above-named company by an entry in the
minute-book made by virtue of section 300 of the Companies
Act, 1933, in lieu of a special resolution, the following resolu-
tion was passed as a special resolution:—
“ That as it is proved to the satisfaction of the company
that it cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business
and that it is advisable to wind up, it is hereby resolved
that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 234 of the
Companies Act, 1933, that a meeting of the creditors of the
above-named company will be held at the registered office
of the company, 242 Queen Street, Auckland, on Wednesday,
the 14th day of September, 1938, at 11 a.m., for the purposes
provided for in sections 234, 235, 236 of the said Act.

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the creditors
of the N.Z. Cattlecake and Oil Company, Limited (in
liquidation), will be held at the offices of Chambers, Worth,
and Chambers, Grey Building, Courthouse Lane, Auckland,
on Wednesday, the 28th day of September, 1938, at 10.15 a.m.
Business—To receive the liquidator’s account of the
winding up of the company, showing how the winding up
has been conducted and the property of the company has
been disposed of. Also to give any explanations which may
be required.
