Authorizing the Acquisition of Land notwithstanding the Provisions as to Limitation of Area.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of August, 1938.

PURSUANT to section two hundred and forty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931, and all other powers him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the disposition to and the acquisition by Campbell Larmach MacDiarmid, of Hamilton, Solicitor, Hugh Douglas, of Hamilton, Surgeon, Richard English, of Hamilton, Public Accountant, Daniel Vickery Bryant, of Hamilton, Farmer, Cecil Daniel Bryant, of Tawhare, Farmer, and John Thomas Bryant, of Matangi, Farmer, of the lands described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
The following parcels of land, situate in the Auckland Land Registration District :—

The residue of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 674, folio 53, containing 313 acres 3 roods 17·6 perches, more or less, being the residue of the Tapuiwahine 1c 2c Block.

Authorizing David Stanley Musker, of Uruti, Farmer, to erect Electric Lines in Portion of the County of Clifton.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of September, 1938.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize David Stanley Musker, of Uruti, Farmer (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”), to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto on the following conditions.
CONDITIONS.
- PURPOSES OF LINES.
The said lines may be used for lighting, power, and heating purposes.
- LICENSE TO BE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS.
The license hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Wiring Regulations, 1935, the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, and with all regulations made or to be made in amplification or amendment thereof or in substitution therefor.
The conditions directed to be implied in all licenses by the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this license, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
- SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.
The system of supply shall be classified under paragraph (j) of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935. The voltage of generation and transmission over the lines hereby authorized shall be approximately 32 volts direct current.
- DURATION OF LICENSE.
Unless sooner determined, this license shall continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1950, or until electrical energy is available from an Electric-power Board or other general public source, whichever is the earlier.
- CHARGES ON SALE.
Maximum Charges.
(1) The licensee shall not in respect of electrical energy distributed under the authority of this license make any charges exceeding those set out hereunder :—
In the case of a supply for lighting purposes, a sum of one shilling and sixpence per unit, reducible on payment within fourteen days of due date to one shilling and threepence per unit.
