Additional Land at Christchurch, taken for the Purposes of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway, and for Street-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway to take further land at Christchurch in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for street-diversion in connection therewith: Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5318, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of September, 1938.

Land taken for the Purposes of Public Buildings of the General Government in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of public buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 7·30 perches. Being part Section 531, Town of Wellington.
Situated in City of Wellington. (S.O. 20154.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 100485, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of September, 1938.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block VIII, Belmont Survey District—viz., Portion of the Western Hutt Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Block VIII, Belmont Survey District—viz. portion of the Western Hutt Road—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only that land situated within the limits as defined on the plan marked P.W.D. 100543, referred to in the Schedule hereto.
