THE LAW PRACTITIONERS ACT (DISCIPLINARY) RULES 1936, AMENDMENT NO. 1.

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of the Regulations Act, 1936, of the making of the above-entitled regulations under the above-entitled Act.

Date of enactment: 18th day of August, 1938.

The Tobacco Growing Industry Act, 1935.—Members of Board appointed.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to reappoint, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities of section 3 of the Tobacco Growing Industry Act, 1935:—

Arthur Frank Bell, and
Arthur Howard Spratt,

as representatives of manufacturers, and

Nolan Rowling, and
Hugh Arnold Thorn,

as representatives of growers, who retired at the 31st July, 1938, in pursuance of section 4 of the above Act.

APPOINTMENT.

Harry Langtry, R.M.S.M. (late the Duke of Wellington’s Regiment), is appointed Musical Director and granted the honorary rank of Flying Officer whilst so employed. Dated 11th May, 1937.

APPOINTMENTS RELINQUISHED.

The undermentioned relinquished their appointments in the temporary rank of Pilot Officer on being appointed to short-service commissions in the Royal Air Force. Dated 31st May, 1938:—
