IT is hereby notified that at the biennial election of members of the above Board the number of votes recorded for each candidate was as follows :—

Wanganui Urban Area—
The only nomination received was that of Norman Annabell.

North Ward—
The only nomination received was that of Lionel Arthur Bailey.

The only nomination received was that of Ira Wilson Mudford.

West Ward—
The only nomination received was that of Edward Fredric Henry Hemingway.

I hereby declare William George Black, Norman Annabell, Lionel Arthur Bailey, Ira Wilson Mudford, and Edward Fredric Henry Hemingway duly elected as members of the Board for the Palmerston North Urban Area, Wanganui Urban Area, North Ward, South Ward, and West Ward respectively.

ELECTION OF FOUR MEMBERS.

IT is hereby publicly notified that the following nominations have been received :—

Nelson Urban Area : Knapp, Frederick Vincent.
East Ward : Wilkens, John George.
North Ward : Carling, Frank Alexander.
Reilly, Claude Page.
West Ward : Harkness, James Hamilton.

The number of nominations received for the North Ward exceeded the number of vacancies, and at the election held on 20th July, 1938, the following votes were received by the respective candidates :—

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 14th September, 1938, at 10.30 o’clock a.m.,
