Declaring Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Areas.
PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations, 1938, I, Walter Nash, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that sufficient majorities of the producers in the respective areas of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such areas should be declared to be pool areas for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare the areas of land defined as aforesaid to be Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Areas for the purposes of the said regulations under the respective names set out in the said Schedule before the description of each area, and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 11th day of August, 1938.

SCHEDULE.
FIRST PART.
Matangi Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
ALL that area in the Waikato County bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the Hillcrest Road with the Hamilton-Rotorua Main Highway, along the said Hillcrest Road to its junction with Silverdale Road, along Silverdale Road to the Ruakura Station Road, along the Ruakura Station to the eastern boundary of the Ruakura State Farm; thence north-west along this boundary to the north-west corner of Lot 50; thence along the north-west boundary of Lots 50–59 to the north-eastern corner of part Section 302 at the south-eastern corner of Subsection 14; thence south-east along the north-eastern boundary of part Section 302 to the Hamilton–Morrisville Railway-line; thence along the said line as far as the south-western corner of Lot 1, part of Section 26, along the north-western boundary of this section to the north-western corner; thence in an easterly direction to the north-eastern corner, along the eastern boundary of the said section to the railway-line; thence along the railway-line to the county boundary; thence in a south-easterly and north-easterly direction along the county boundary to the south-eastern corner of Section 72s; thence south-westerly along the southern boundaries of Section 72s, and part of the Tahuaroa No. 1 Block, through the Tahuaroa Trig. Station, to the north-eastern corner of Lot B, Karokaro Block; thence along the eastern and southern boundaries of this block to the Pukemoremore Trig. Station; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Section 2 to the south-eastern corner of Section 1; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 1 to the road at the north-eastern corner, north-easterly along the road to a road on the south-western boundary of Section 3a, along this road to the north-western boundary of Section 3a to the south-eastern corner of Section 148; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 148, 143a, 143c 1, the north-eastern corner of Section part 135; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Section part 135 to the Cambridge–Morrisville Main Highway; thence south-easterly along this road to the south-eastern corner of Lot 130; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Sections 130 and 128a; thence south-easterly along the eastern boundary of Section part 160 to its south-eastern corner; thence south-westerly along the southern boundaries of Sections part 160, Lots 4 and 5, part of Section 84, and Lot 2 of 83 to the Hamilton-Cambridge Railway-line; thence north-westerly along this line to the south-eastern corner of Lot 1 of 70 along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of this section to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 2 of 45; thence along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 2 of 45, 3 of 69, and 4 of 68 to the south-western corner of Lot 4 of 68 at its junction with Martins Road; thence north-westerly along this road to the junction of the Narrows-Tauwhare Road; thence along the western boundary of Section 44a to the Mangaharakeke Stream; thence north-westerly along this stream to its junction with the Mangaonua Stream; thence north-westerly along the western boundary of Section 262 to the Hamilton–Paeroa Main Highway; thence westerly along this road and the Hamilton–Rotorua Main Highway to the commencing-point.

SECOND PART.
Maungaturoto Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
All that area of land lying within the North Auckland district as zoned by Orders Nos. 9/10/11 and 22 made and issued by the Executive Commission of Agriculture under and in pursuance of the Dairy Supply Regulations, 1938, as the cream-collection area of the Maungaturoto Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited.

THIRD PART.
Whangaroa Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
All that area of land lying within the North Auckland District and bounded by a line identical in every way with the present boundary of the Whangaroa County, and, in addition, that area of land lying within the Bay of Islands County which is bounded by a line commencing on the Whangaroa County boundary at the Manginangina Trig. Station; thence from this point taking a straight line across country in a south-easterly direction to cross the summit of the Pokaka Hill; thence continuing in the same direction to meet the northern bank of the Waitangi River; thence following this bank of the river down-stream to the mouth; and thence along the foreshore of the Bay of Islands in a northerly direction until the county boundary, including the Kerikeri and Mangonui Inlets, is met at Cape Wiwiki; thence following this boundary-line in a northerly direction and thence in a westerly direction until it joins the Whangaroa County boundary at the mouth of the Takou River on the foreshore of Takou Bay.

FOURTH PART.
Netherton Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
That area of land lying entirely within the Hauraki Plains County and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the Awati Canal meets the southern boundary of the Hauraki Plains County; thence following the line of the canal in a northerly direction to the point where the boundary-line of the Hauraki Plains Marketing Pool Area crosses this canal; thence following this pool boundary generally in a northerly direction to the point where it meets the western bank of the Waihou River at Kurimii Block 11; thence continuing along the western bank of the Waihou River up-stream to the point where the river crosses the Hauraki Plains County boundary; thence continuing along the said boundary-line in a westerly direction to the point where it is crossed by the Awati Canal, the original point of commencement.

FIFTH PART.
Onewhero Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
All that area of land lying entirely within the County of Raglan and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the Waikato River is crossed by the Tukau Bridge; thence following the western bank of the said river in a southerly direction to the mouth of the Ohira Stream; thence from this point following the said stream up-stream in a south-westerly direction to the point where it crosses Kauri Road; thence from this point, taking a straight line across country in a westerly direction to the Opuita Creek; thence from this point, continuing the line in a northerly direction around the base of the Pakuranga Hills to Taipo Flats; thence from this point taking a direct line across country in an easterly direction to again meet the Waikato River where it is bridged at Tukau, the original point of commencement.

SIXTH PART.
Rata-Taihape Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
All that area of land lying within the county boundaries of Rangitikei and Kiwitea Counties and commencing at the point of the Cliff Road Railway-station and from this point taking a line in a westerly direction along Calico Line, including the farms which have direct access to Calico Line on both sides; thence through the Town of Marton, following the Main Marton–Bonny Glen Road past the Bonny Glen Railway-station and including those farms which have access to this road on the northern side; thence continuing past the Bonny Glen Railway-station in the direction of Gower’s Hill; thence to and along Bruce Road in a northerly direction to meet the Turakina River; thence following the western bank of the Turakina River up-stream to the Trig. Station No. 2618; thence continuing in the same direction to the point where the Ongaonga Stream joins the Turakina River; thence from this point, taking a straight line across country in a north-easterly direction to the Township of Turangarere; thence from this point continuing in a straight line across country in a westerly direction to meet the eastern bank of the Rangitikei River; thence following the eastern bank of the said river down-stream to the Te Awamutu Township; thence continuing in a straight line across country in a south-westerly direction to again meet Cliff Road Railway-station, the original point of commencement.
