Weighted with £56 for improvements, comprising 30 chains road-line fencing, half value 10 chains boundary-fence, and 11 acres felled, burned, and grassed. This sum is payable in cash, or, after payment of a deposit of £6, the balance may be repaid over a period of seven years by fourteen half-yearly instalments of £4 6s. 5d.
This property is situated on the Te Uri Road, fourteen miles from Ormondville Post-office and Railway-station, four miles from the Te Uri School, and eighteen miles from the Norsewood Dairy Factory and Saleyards. Access by metalled road from Ormondville. Flat to undulating land, suitable for grazing. The soil comprises a light clay resting on clay and rotten rock. There is no permanent water on the section, but it may be obtained by sinking.

Town Land in Canterbury Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.
District Lands and Survey Office,
Christchurch, 26th July, 1938.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Friday, 9th September, 1938.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, on Tuesday, 13th September, 1938, at 10.30 a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount of weighting for improvements.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT —TOWN LAND.
Oxford County.—Oxford Survey District.
PART R.S. 2071, Block VIII : Area, 2 acres 0 roods 12 perches. Capital value, £60 ; half-yearly rent, £1 10s.
Weighted with £5 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising fencing.
This section, which offers a good building-site, is situated in the Oxford Township with a frontage to High Street. The area is more or less covered in spreading broom.
The term of lease is thirty-three years with perpetual right of renewal.
