NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 188 (4) of the Mining Act, 1926, as amended by section 18 of the Mining Amendment Act, 1937, that the mining privilege mentioned in the Schedule hereunder has this day been struck off the Register.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

(1) E. J. Hyams, on behalf of a company to be incorporated for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed new service station at 90–92 Dixon Street, Wellington.

(2) H. Foster, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed new garage at Albury.

(3) Messrs. Parkes and Griffiths, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at their premises in Opunake.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 9th August, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from Hansell Laboratories Ltd., Masterton, for a license to manufacture rennet for household use only at Masterton.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 11th August, 1938.
