NOTICE is hereby given that HORACE CHARLES EWING, of 55 St. Albans Street, Christchurch, Jeweller, was this day adjudged bankrupt; and I hereby summon a meeting of creditors to be held at my office, Old Provincial Building, Durham Street, Christchurch, on Thursday, the 21st day of July, 1938, at 10.30 o’clock a.m.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

EVIDENCE of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 487, folio 281 (Auckland Registry), for all that parcel of land being Lot 78 on deposited plan 11099, and being part of Allotment 190, Parish of Takapuna, whereof WILLIAM BROTHERTON, of Auckland, Retired Farmer, is the registered proprietor, having been lodged with me, together with an application for the issue of a new certificate of title, and evidence of the loss of the Outstanding Duplicate of Mortgage number 225249 given by the said William Brotherton as mortgagor to (now) NORMAN POWLEY CARLESS, of Auckland, Public Accountant, as mortgagee, over the above-described land, having been lodged with me together with a request to register a dealing without requiring production of the said outstanding duplicate of the said mortgage, notice is hereby given of my intention to issue such new certificate of title and to dispense with such production accordingly upon the expiration of fourteen days from the 14th day of July, 1938.

APPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of a provisional certificate of title in the name of COLERIDGE RIDD, of Ohakune, Chemist, for all that parcel of land containing 20 perches, more or less, being north-western half of Section 3, Block V, on the plan of the Township of Ohakune, and being all the land in Vol. 201, folio 154 (Wellington Registry), and evidence having been lodged of the loss or destruction of the said certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I will issue the provisional certificate of title as requested after fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

ADAM WILLIAM MACLARN.

In the matter of the Administration Act, 1908, and its amendments, and in the matter of the Estate of ADAM WILLIAM MACLARN, formerly of Minginui, but late of Te Whaiti, Retired Sawmiller, but now deceased.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, on the 23rd day of June, 1938, pursuant to the powers in that behalf conferred upon him by section 62 of the above-mentioned Act, filed a certificate in the Supreme Court at Wellington electing to administer the above estate under Part IV of the said Act, and that the said estate will, as from the said date, be administered, realized, and distributed in accordance with the law and practice of bankruptcy.

Notice is further given that I do hereby summon a meeting of creditors of the above estate to be held at the Public Trust Office, Rotorua, on Thursday, the 7th day of July, 1938, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

Notice is finally given that all creditors, whether they have already submitted their claims or not, are required to prove their debts within the time and in the manner provided by the Bankruptcy Act, 1908. Proof-of-debt forms may be procured at my office.
