Revocation of Appointments of certain Garage-proprietors for
Issue of Warrants of Fitness.
IN terms of regulation 11 of the Traffic Regulations,
1936, and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf,
I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby revoke
the approval of the persons and firms described in the Schedule
hereto for the purpose of the issue of Warrants of Fitness
for motor-vehicles.

Zealand Military Forces:
STAFF.
Lieutenant S. B. Wallace, B.E., N.Z. Army Ordnance Corps,
having returned to the Dominion after undergoing a course
of instruction at the Military School of Science, Woolwich,
ceases to be seconded, and is appointed Ordnance Mechanical
Engineer, Trentham. Dated 18th June, 1938.
Lieutenant A. H. Andrews, B.E., N.Z. Army Ordnance Corps,
relinquishes the appointment of Ordnance Mechanical
Engineer (temp.) dated 17th June, 1938, and is appointed
Assistant Ordnance Officer, Main Ordnance Depot, Tren-
tham, dated 18th June, 1938.
THE CANTERBURY YEOMANRY CAVALRY.
Captain and Quartermaster E. W. Webb, Regimental Depot,
to be Major and Quartermaster. Dated 22nd June, 1938.
Major and Quartermaster E. W. Webb, Regimental Depot,
is posted to the Retired List with permission to retain his
rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 23rd June,
1938.
THE MANAWATU MOUNTED RIFLES.
Captain B. A. Norman, seconded "B" Squadron, 4th Com-
posite Mounted Rifles Regiment (Motorized), to be Major.
Dated 1st June, 1938.
Captain and Quartermaster R. E. B. Hopkirk to be Major
and Quartermaster. Dated 2nd April, 1938.
REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.
Captain M. A. Bull, from the Canterbury Regiment, to be
Captain, with seniority from 26th April, 1934, and is posted
to the 9th Field Battery. Dated 24th June, 1938.
Lieutenant T. H. Bevan, 21st Field Battery, to be Captain.
Dated 9th May, 1938.
2nd Lieutenant T. J. Casling-Cottle, 21st Field Battery, to
be Lieutenant. Dated 1st June, 1938.
2nd Lieutenant H. H. Craig ceases to be seconded for duty
with Secondary School Cadets and is transferred to the
Hauraki Regiment. Dated 27th June, 1938.
N.Z. CORPS OF SIGNALS.
Major T. O. Lambie, E.D., relinquishes the appointment of
Staff Officer to the Director of Signals and is transferred
to the Reserve of Officers, Class II (b), Area 5. Dated
28th June, 1938.
Ernest Hedley Roy Green to be Honorary Major and is
appointed Assistant Director of Signals. Dated 1st June,
1938.
THE AUCKLAND REGIMENT (COUNTESS OF RANFURLY'S OWN).
Herbert John Russell to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation),
is posted to the 1st Battalion and seconded to Northern
Military District Headquarters, for duty as Publicity Officer,
and is granted the honorary rank of Captain whilst so
employed. Dated 17th March, 1938.
THE HAURAKI REGIMENT.
Captain L. R. Cutforth, 2nd Cadet Battalion, is posted to
the Retired List with permission to retain his rank and
wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 28th June, 1938.
Lieutenant J. P. Wilson, 1st Cadet Battalion, resigns his
commission. Dated 27th June, 1938.
2nd Lieutenant H. H. Craig, from the Regiment of N.Z.
Artillery, to be 2nd Lieutenant, with seniority from 19th
November, 1935, and is posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion.
