Land taken for the Purposes of a Surf aceman's Cottage in
Block VII, Waihou Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a surface-
man's cottage; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of July,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 37⋅4 perches.
Being portion of Arawhakapckapeka Block. (D.P. 12020.)
Situated in Block VII, Waihou Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 29446.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98628,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
July, 1938.

Revoking a Proclamation taking Additional Land for the
Purposes of a Recreation-ground in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the fifteenth day of
June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 45 of the sixteenth
day of the same month, at page 1462, taking additional
land for the purposes of a recreation-ground in the City of
Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of July,
1938.

Defining the Middle-line of a Portion of the Paeroa-Pokeno
Railway (36m. 60ch.-40m. 20ch. from Paeroa).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a portion of the
Paeroa-Pokeno Railway shall be that defined and set forth in
the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the road forming the eastern
boundary of Lot l, D.P. 27805, being part Allotment 176,
Koheroa Parish, approximately three chains south of the
easternmost corner of the said Lot l, marked 36 miles

60 chains and proceeding thence in a westerly direction
generally for a distance of approximately 3 miles 40 chains
and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands,
&c., viz., Lots l, 2, 3, 4, and 5, D.P. 27805, being portions of
Allotment 176, Koheroa Parish ; Allotments 170, 103, 102,
20, and 20A, Koheroa Parish, and terminating at a point
marked 40 miles 20 chains on the existing North Island
Main Trunk Railway approximately six chains south of the
Mangatawhiri Stream ; including all adjoining and inter-
vening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers,
streams, and watercourses : all in the Auckland Land District.
As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 99776,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of July,
1938.

Belmont Survey District—viz., Deviations of the Ngahau-
ranga Gorge section of the Wellington-Tawa Flat Main
Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road
desired to be constructed over Blocks XI and XII, Belmont
Survey District—viz., deviations of the Ngahauranga Gorge
section of the Wellington-Tawa Flat Main Highway—shall
be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto ; and I
do also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only that
land situated within the limits as defined on the plan marked
P.W.D. 99821 referred to in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the southern boundary of Lot
1A, D.P. 504, Block XI, Belmont Survey District, and
proceeding thence in a northerly direction along the existing
Wellington-Tawa Flat Main Highway generally for a distance
of approximately 1 mile 60⋅15 chains and passing in, into,
through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., Lot 1A, D.P.
504, and part Section 8, Harbour District, on D.P. 3071,
Block XI, Belmont Survey District ; parts Subdivisions
A and B, Ngahauranga Native Reserve, Block XII, Belmont
Survey District ; part Lot 7, D.P. 3010, parts Section 8,
Harbour District, and part Section 6, Porirua District,
Lot 17, Block VIII, D.P. 2442, Block XI, Belmont Survey
District ; part Lot 4, D.P. 3010, Blocks XI and XII, Belmont
Survey District ; Subdivision 4B, Porirua Native Reserve,
parts Lots 8, 7, 6, and 5, Block VIII, D.P. 2442, Block XI,
Belmont Survey District, and part Section 9, Porirua District
(D.P. 3436), Block XII, Belmont Survey District, and
terminating at a point on the said highway on the boundary
between the Makara County and the Johnsonville Town
District ; including all adjoining and intervening places,
lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and
watercourses ; all in the Wellington Land District. As the
same is *delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 99821
(3 sheets), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of July,
1938.
