Additional Land at Port Ahuriri taken for the Purposes of the Wellington–Napier Railway, and for Street-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington–Napier Railway to take further land at Port Ahuriri, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for street-diversion in connection therewith:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5015, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of January, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Block IV, Mata Survey District, and Block XVI, Mangaoporo Survey District—viz., a deviation of the No. 24 Gisborne–Te Araroa State Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the existing No. 24 Gisborne–Te Araroa State Highway at a point on the southern boundary of Ngamoe A 6 Block, Block IV, Mata Survey District, 16 chains from the eastern corner of the said Ngamoe A 6 Block, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 37 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.,—viz., part Ngamoe Nos.
