Portion of Oxford Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of January, 1938.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the sixth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, viz. :

“ That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the north-western side of portion of Oxford Street, abutting on Allotments 27 and 28, Block VII, L.T.P. 17, Township of South Dunedin ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side of the portion of Oxford Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

THE north-western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Oxford Street, fronting Allotments 27 and 28, Block VII, L.T.P. 17, Township of South Dunedin. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98103, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Portion of Wratt Road, Marlborough, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of January, 1938.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Marlborough County Council on the twelfth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, viz. :

“ The Marlborough County Council, being the local authority having control of Wratt Road, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the aforesaid road adjoining part Sections 83 and 84, Wairau West, as shown on plan being the land contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 30, folio 262 ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-eastern side of the portion of Wratt Road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE.

THE north-eastern side of all that portion of road, situated in the Marlborough Land District, County of Marlborough, known as Wratt Road, fronting parts Allotments 83 and 84, Wairau West, Block X, Cloudy Bay Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97782, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown.

Portion of John Street, in the Borough of New Plymouth, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of January, 1938.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the eighteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, viz. :

“ That the New Plymouth Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the street hereinafter mentioned, hereby resolves and declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the northern side of John Street to which Lots 1, 2, and 3 of parts of Sections 1734, 1735, 1757, 1760, and Part Q on Deposited Plans 956, 1518, and 1535, New Plymouth, have frontages ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side of the portion of John Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

THE north-western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, known as John Street, fronting part Section 1757, Town of New Plymouth. As the same is more particularly delineated of the plan marked P.W.D. 98015, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
