FEATHERSTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Featherston Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,500 authorized to be raised by the Featherston Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for additions and improvements to the Featherston water-supply system, the said Featherston Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Featherston, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and to be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan for a period of thirty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CHAIN OF MINES, LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
A MEETING of creditors of Chain of Mines, Limited, will be held at the registered office, 203 Commerce Buildings, Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Monday, 11th July, 1938, at 4.30 p.m., to consider and if thought fit to confirm the following resolution which will be submitted to a meeting of shareholders of the company convened for the same day.
“ That the company by reason of its liabilities cannot continue its business and that it be voluntarily wound up.”
To appoint a liquidator, and fix his remuneration.

WAIROA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Wairoa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £20,000 authorized to be raised by the Wairoa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for housing, the said Wairoa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1·57 pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the district, comprising of the whole of the Borough of Wairoa, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Wairoa Borough Council at a meeting held on the 10th day of June, 1938.
