CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Reserve in Taranaki Land District for Lease by Public Tender.

District Lands and Survey Office,
New Plymouth, 28th June, 1938.

NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders, marked on the outside “Tender for Lease,” will be received at this office up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 1st August, 1938, for a lease of the undermentioned reserve under the provisions of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

Waimate West County.—Waimate West Survey District.

SECTIONS 91 and 92, Block VII: Area, 6 acres 2 roods. Minimum annual rental, £20.

This property is situated in the Manaiā Town Board District.

Abstract of Terms and Conditions of Lease.

  1. Term of lease—fourteen years.
  2. Possession to be given to the successful tenderer on the day of acceptance of tender; six months’ rent, together with £1 1s. lease fee to be paid by the successful tenderer immediately upon tender being declared successful.
  3. Rent payable half-yearly in advance.
  4. Lessee not to be required to reside on the land.
  5. Lessee to have no right to transfer, sublet, or otherwise dispose of the land without the prior consent of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, New Plymouth.
  6. Lessee to be liable for payment of all rates, taxes, and other assessments.
  7. No compensation to be claimed by the lessee nor any to be allowed on account of any improvements effected by the lessee nor for any other cause, but at the expiration or sooner determination of the lease the lessee to be entitled to and to be given three months within which to remove all improvements (except boundary-fencing) from the land.
  8. The lessee not to crop or break up the land except with the prior written consent of the Commissioner of Crown Lands.
  9. Lessee to keep the land free from all noxious weeds to the satisfaction of the Commissioner of Crown Lands.
  10. Lessee not to engage in any noisome, noxious, or offensive trade upon the land.
  11. Lease to be subject to termination if the lessee fails to fulfil any of the conditions of the lease whether expressed or implied within twenty-one days after the date on which the same should be fulfilled.
  12. The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

Education Reserves in North Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserves will be offered for lease by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 2.30 o’clock p.m. on Wednesday, 3rd August, 1938, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVES.

Papakura Town District.—Subdivision of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, Block X, Village of Papakura.

Lot 1, D.P. 26920: Area, 1 rood 9 perches. Upset annual rent, £4.
Lot 2, D.P. 26920: Area, 39·7 perches. Upset annual rent, £3 15s.
Lot 3, D.P. 26920: Area, 1 rood 6·9 perches. Upset annual rent, £4.

These sections are situated on the Great South Road at its junction with Chapel Street about a quarter of a mile from Papakura Railway-station and school and half a mile from post-office by concrete road. The land is flat, soil being of clay nature on clay formation. Town water-supply available.

Lots 2 and 3 are fenced on the front boundary, and Lot 1 is fenced on front and one side boundary. The fencing is practically valueless.

Form of lease may be perused and full particulars obtained at the office of the undersigned.
