A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty-two
of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf,
I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of June, 1938.

Otanake Survey District, Waitomo County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the additional land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a
quarry and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Waitomo as from the date
hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day
of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 acre 1 rood
15.4 perches.
Being portion of Kinohaku East No. 4B Section 3B No. 2B
No. 2B Block.
Situated in Block XI, Otanake Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 29344.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 99233,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of
June, 1938.

Leasehold Interest in Land in the Borough of Lower Hutt
taken for the Purposes of a Public School.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the estate of leasehold in
the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by the Westland
Timber Company, Limited, under lease from Henry Charles
Drury Van Asch for a term of twenty years eleven months
from the twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-five, such lease being registered in
the Land Registry Office at Wellington as number 16142,
is hereby taken for the purposes of a public school; and I do
also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect
on and after the fifth day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty-eight.

under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of

Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
