Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Taking of Fish for Sale.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

  1. L. Le Comte, for a license to take fish at Akaroa by means of a 30 ft. 7 h.p. launch, using set and drag nets and hand-lines, and supplying the Akaroa market.

  2. P. Mears, for a license to take fish at Motueka by means of a 13½ ft. 3 h.p. launch, using set-nets and long and hand lines, and supplying the Motueka market.

  3. P. Moore-Carter, Stewart Island, for a license to take fish at Half-moon Bay by means of a 30 ft. 5 h.p. vessel, using long and hand lines and set-nets.

  4. L. Trounson, for a license to take fish at Tautuku Harbour by means of a 22 ft. 18 h.p. launch, using hand-lines, and supplying the Dunedin market.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 5th July, 1938.

  2. A. E. Tall, for a license to trawl for oysters at Foveaux Strait by means of a 43 ft. launch, and supplying the Bluff market.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 5th July, 1938.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

  1. A. C. Tudor, to transfer two petrol pumps at present installed at his premises in Kitchener Road, to a new position at the corner of Kitchener and Milford Roads, Milford, Auckland, to form a service station.

  2. W. H. Tomlinson, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his premises in Tapawera.

  3. The Nuhaka Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at the company’s premises in Nuhaka.

  4. H. A. MacFarlane, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his premises in Waipiro Bay.

  5. J. L. Thornton, for permission to move one petrol pump at present situated in Beach Road, Kaikoura, to a new position at his premises in Beach Road, approximately three-quarters of a mile nearer the Kaikoura Township.

  6. L. Keys, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his garage in Kohukohu.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 4th July, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
