conduct of elections of members of the Council of
Canterbury University College, that at the elections held
on the 6th June, 1938, the following were the persons elected
and the respective classes of electors by whom they were

notice is hereby given that a resolution was passed on
the 3rd day of June, 1938, for a member’s voluntary winding
up.

NOTICE is hereby given that at the annual general
meeting of the above-named company duly convened
and held on Tuesday, the 7th day of June, 1938, the following
special resolution was duly passed :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily.”
At the same meeting Messrs. HERBERT HUMPHRIES,
FREDERICK WILLIAM BROWNE, and WALTER HUMPHRIES
were duly appointed liquidators for the purpose of such winding
up.

COUNTY OF WAITEMATA.
——
TAKAPUNA RIDING LOAN (1937), £7,000.
——
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of £7,000 authorized to be raised by the
Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of reconstruction of the Beach Road, secondary
main highway in the Takapuna Riding, kerbing, channelling
and fencing, and metalling of same, and the taking of any
necessary land therefor, the Waitemata County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5/16ths of one
penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable
property in the Takapuna Riding of the County of Waitemata,
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly
on the 30th day of September and the 30th day of March in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of fifteen years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a minute
passed at a meeting of the Waitemata County Council held on
the 27th day of May, 1938.

Univ. of N.Z., 1938, now residing in Hamilton, hereby
give notice that I intend applying on the 7th July next to
have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion
of New Zealand ; and that I have deposited the evidence
of my qualification in the office of the Department of Health
at Hamilton.

AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
——
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Counties Act, 1920, and the Local
Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it
thereunto enabling, the Amuri County Council hereby
resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest and other charges on the Amuri County Council
Doctor’s House Loan, 1938, of £1,910 authorized to be
raised by the Amuri County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of erecting a doctor’s residence
in the Amuri County, the said Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of seven six-hundred-and-twenty-fifths
of a penny (7/625d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable
value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable
property in the Amuri County, and that such special rate
shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of
such loan and be payable annually on the first day of
September in each and every year during the currency of
the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the
loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Amuri
County Council held on the 3rd day of June, 1938.

Any creditors claims not lodged with the undersigned on
