Canceling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Levin Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of June, 1938.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Levin, in trust, for municipal purposes by virtue of an Order in Council dated the eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the Gazette of the eleventh day of that month, the said Order in Council having been issued pursuant to section four of the Public Reserves Act, 1881 :

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Levin have duly consented to such cancellation :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Levin of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting a Reserve in the Kaiapoi Borough Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for plantation purposes : And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Kaiapoi :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Kaiapoi, in trust, for plantation purposes.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve for a Public Hall Site in the Wanganui County Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is an area permanently reserved for a public hall site : And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Wanganui County Council :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Wanganui County Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land in the First Schedule hereto and the estate of leasehold in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto held by William Webb Moore from His Majesty the King under and by virtue of lease registered in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 10238A, being taken for the purposes of a road.
