A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portions of road in Waihi South and Rotoma Survey Districts described in the Schedule hereto.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
HUTCHINSON SCENIC RESERVE.—HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area situated in Block XIV, Pohui Survey District, containing by admeasurement 88 acres 3 roods 6 perches, more or less, being Lots 3 and 13, D.P. 6529, being part Block 13, Patoka Crown Grant District, and part Rural Section 9, Puketitiri Reserve, and part Section 60, Block XIV, Pohui Survey District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/774, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of June, 1938.

Land in the Westland Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land :
And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the Schedule hereto (being land heretofore held on a license issued under the regulations for the occupation of pastoral lands within the Karamea and Westland Mining Districts) has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said land should cease to be national-endowment land :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the fifteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
PART Section 3384, Block IV, Kaniere Survey District: Area, 94 acres 1 rood 32 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of June, 1938.

Revoking the setting apart of Crown Land in the Auckland Land District for Selection by Discharged Soldiers under Special Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Amendment Act, 1919, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the thirtieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the Gazette of the eleventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, page 1841, setting apart the land described in the said Schedule for selection by discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

SECTION 3, Block XIV, Wharepapa Survey District: Area, 350 acres.
