Additional Land taken for the Purposes of a Police-station in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a police-station; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the tenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 29Β·6 perches.

Being part Section 665, Town of Wellington.

Situated in Block X, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 20119.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 99397, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of June, 1938.

Revoking a Proclamation taking Land in connection with Street-widening subject to certain Interests, and Portion of a Proclamation taking Land for the Purposes of a Street and in connection with Street-widening at Jackson Street, in the Borough of Petone.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 39 of the eleventh day of the same month, at page 1122, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 2495, taking land in connection with street-widening at Jackson Street, in the Borough of Petone, subject to certain interests; and also do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the fifteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 35 of the twenty-first day of the same month, at page 965, and deposited in the said Land Registry Office as No. 2493, taking land for the purposes of a street and in connection with street-widening at Jackson Street, in the Borough of Petone, in so far as it affects the area of 8Β·03 perches described in the Second Schedule thereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of June, 1938.
