IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the company will be held in the Pirinoa Hall, Pirinoa, on Friday, the 17th day of June, 1938; at 7 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of laying before the meeting the account of the winding up.

CHANGE OF SURNAME.

I, JAMES PATRICK PERRY, of Lyttelton, Public Servant, heretofore called and known by the name of JAMES PATRICK REARDON, hereby give public notice that on the 25th day of May, 1938, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the use of my said surname of Reardon, and then assumed and adopted and determined thenceforth on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of James Patrick Perry in lieu of the said name of James Patrick Reardon:

And I give further notice that by a deed-poll dated the 25th day of May, 1938, duly executed and attested and enrolled in the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Christchurch on the 27th day of May, 1938, I formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the said surname of Reardon and declared that I had assumed and adopted and intended thenceforth upon all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of James Patrick Perry in lieu of James Patrick Reardon and so as to be at all times thereafter called, known, and described by the name of James Patrick Perry exclusively.

Meeting of Creditors.

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the creditors of New Zealand Petroleum Company Proprietary, Limited (in voluntary liquidation), will be held at the offices of Messrs. Bell, Gully, Mackenzie, and Evans, 104 Featherston Street, Wellington, at 2.15 o'clock on Tuesday, the 21st day of June, 1938, for the purpose of enabling the liquidator to lay before such meeting an account showing the manner in which the winding up of the company has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and for the purpose of giving any explanation thereof and of considering and if thought fit of passing the following extraordinary resolution:—

“Resolved, that the accounts submitted by the liquidator be and the same are hereby approved, and that the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator be retained by Bell, Gully, Mackenzie, and Evans, solicitors for the liquidator, for a period of five years from the date hereof, after which time they may be destroyed by the liquidator.”

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of New Zealand Petroleum Company Proprietary, Limited (in voluntary liquidation), will be held at the offices of Messrs. Bell, Gully, Mackenzie, and Evans, 104 Featherston Street, Wellington, at 2 o'clock on Tuesday, the 21st day of June, 1938, for the purpose of enabling the liquidator to lay before such meeting an account showing the manner in which the winding up of the company has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and for the purpose of giving any explanation thereof and of considering and if thought fit of passing the following extraordinary resolution :—

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 21st day of May, 1938, the following special resolution was passed :—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and it was further resolved that ERIC MORICE JONES LITT, be appointed liquidator of the company.”

NOTICE is hereby given that an Order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 29th day of April, 1938, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £38,000 to £30,400 and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above Act were registered by the Registrar of Companies at Wellington on the 26th day of May, 1938.
