A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Pourerere Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Provisional State Forests and Crown Land set apart as Permanent State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the provisional State forests and Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forests.
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL those areas in the Nelson Land District containing approximately 119,269 acres and described as follows :—
All that area in Inangahua and Murchison Counties, containing approximately 68,000 acres, being part of Provisional State Forest No. 89 (35,571 acres, Gazette 1920, page 933—ordinary provisional State forest) and Crown land (32,429 acres), situated in Burnett, Matakitaki, Rahu, Una, Lewis, and Travers Survey Districts, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the east by Sections 3 and 7, Block XIV, Matakitaki Survey District, Sections 7 and 6, Block II, and Sections 7, 6, and 4, Block VI, Una Survey District and a permanent State forest (Gazette 1935, page 174); towards the north by the said permanent State forest and by a right line drawn due east through the point at the junction of the ridges at the head of the Matakitaki, Glenroy, and Maruia Rivers; towards the south-east, south, and south-west by Crown land and another part of Provisional State Forest No. 89 (Gazette 1920, page 933), the boundary of the said
