Notice to Persons affected by Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Pharmacy (Dispensing of Prescriptions.)

I HEREBY give notice that a license has been received from D. E. Morgan for a license to carry on the business of chemist or druggist by the keeping of open shop or place for the compounding or dispensing of prescriptions at proposed new premises at Brown’s Bay, Auckland.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 26th May, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and should include financial statements.

Taking of Fish.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from–
(1) R. G. Marchant, for a license to take fish at Wanganui by means of a 34 ft. 14 h.p. launch, using long and hand lines only, and supplying the Wanganui market.
(2) The Oban Fishing Co., Ltd., for a license to take fish at Half-moon Bay, Stewart Island, by means of a 24 ft. 7 h.p. launch, using hand-lines, and supplying the Invercargill market and for export.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 23rd May, 1938.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—
(1) M. A. Johnson, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from a petrol pump installed at his premises at 258 High Street, Dannevirke.
(2) D. McL. Wallace (Whangarei), Ltd., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed new service station at corner of Walton and Clyde Streets, Whangarei.
(3) A. Watson, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit on his property at 216 Palmerston Street, Westport.
(4) C. W. Elvidge, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his store at Otumoetai.
(5) Mrs. E. Clark, for a license to install one petrol pump at her premises in Alexander Street, Te Awamutu.
(6) Drummond and Etheridge, Ltd., for permission to move two petrol pumps from inside the company's garage at the corner of East and Grey Streets, Ashburton, to a position in front facing East Street and install two additional pumps alongside.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 26th May, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
