THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block IX, Waitohu Survey District, for the Purposes of a Road.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work--to wit, the construction of a road--and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Otaki and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land required to be taken:

Being Portion of
0 3 33·4 Pukehou 5L 2 Block ; coloured red.
0 0 35·7 Pukehou 5L 1B Block ; coloured blue.
Situated in Block IX, Waitohu Survey District. (S.O. 20052.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98761, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XI, Tokatoka Survey District, for the Purposes of a Quarry.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a quarry. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Naumai and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land required to be taken:

1 2 20 Section 16 ; coloured red.
Situated in Block XI, Tokatoka Survey District.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 99199, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Notice of Intention to take additional Land in the Borough of Levin, for the Purposes of a Post-office.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work--to wit, the construction of a post-office--and for the purposes of such public work the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Levin and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 18·06 perches.
Being portion of Lot 4, Block II, D.P. 1006, being part Horowhenua No. 1 Block.
Situated in Block I, Waiopahu Survey District (Borough of Levin). (S.O. 20094.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 99057, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
