Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Kohukohu Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 3rd day of May, 1938.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves. Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint George Andrewes,
Frederick Robert Philipps,
William Hawea Kirkpatrick,
Arthur Augustus Potter, and Randall Francis Cooke Yarborough
to be the Kohukohu Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, at eleven o'clock a.m., as the time when, and Mr. Andrewes' Office, Kohukohu, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
KOHUKOHU DOMAIN.--NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTIONS 2 and 3, Town of Kohukohu (Government): Area, l rood 30 perches, more or less.
Also all that area situated in Block X, Mangamuka Survey District, being portion of the foreshore of the Hokianga River, and containing by admeasurement ll acres 2 roods 11·3 perches, more or less. Bounded, commencing at peg XIIIA, towards the north-east and south-west by right lines bearing 110° 29', distance 496·6 links, and 200° 29', 2289·6 links, respectively; and towards the west generally by a public road, 740·3, 382·6, 551·1, 658·9, and 231·1 links, to point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Consenting to Land being taken for the Purposes of a Motor-vehicle Testing Station in the City of Christchurch.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 3rd day of May, 1938.

THE RIGHT Hon. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a motor-vehicle testing station.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken : 7·8 perches.
Being part Town Reserve 95.
Situated in Block XI, Christchurch Survey District (City of Christchurch), (Canterbury R.D.). (S.P. 2468.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98446, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Consenting to Land being taken for the Purposes of a Public School in the City of Auckland.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a public school.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken : 11 acres 3 roods 23 perches.
Being Lot 63, D.P. 177, being part Allotment 7, Parish of Titirangi.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Whangarei County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped : 8 acres 1 rood 35 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Allotment 52 on D.P. 5209, Allotments 53, 54, 55, S. 56, part N. 56, 136, and 140, Parish of Mangapai, and part Te Totara Block.

WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the fifteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, consent was given to the raising by the Roxburgh Borough Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) of the sum of two thousand pounds (£2,000) by a loan to be known as “Sewerage and Drainage Advances Loan, 1937” (hereinafter called “the said loan”), such consent being given subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, including, inter alia, the provision that the rate of interest that might be paid in
