Amendments to the Regulations under the Government Railways Act, 1926.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of April, 1938.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Government Railways Act, 1926, and its amendments, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the regulations made under the Government Railways Act, 1926, on the twenty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in the Gazette of the thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, as from time to time amended (hereinafter referred to as “the said regulations”) in the manner following, that is to say:—
- (a) By adding to the list of designations of officers in class one of subdivision one of the First Division, as set out in the First Schedule to the said regulations, the designation “Second Assistant General Manager.”
(This amendment shall be deemed to have taken effect on the fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.)
(b) By adding to the list of designations of officers in class two of the said subdivision one immediately under the designation “Locomotive Superintendent” the designation “Transportation Superintendent.”
(c) By adding to the list of designations of officers in the said class two (Grade Special) the designation “Staff Superintendent and General Inspector.”
(The amendments provided for in paragraphs (b) and (c) hereof shall be deemed to have taken effect on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.)
- By adding to the said Second Schedule, as regulation seven thereof, the following:—
“7. Salaries in excess of £765 per annum shall be as provided for in the annual estimates of the Department and appropriated by Parliament.”

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Katikati Domain.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 3rd day of May, 1938.

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Norman Auson Blomquist,
William Henderson,
Noble Johnston,
Harry Hosier Grayling,
Rainhold Edmund Robert Lindemann,
Albert Edward Putt, and
Robert Wilson
to be the Katikati Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the third day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, at three o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Pavilion, Katikati Domain, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—KATIKATI DOMAIN.
ALLOTMENTS 25 and 26, Parish of Katikati: Area, 185 acres 2 roods, more or less.
Also all that area in the Town of Waterford, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 1 rood 26·2 perches, more or less, being Lots 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 176, 177, 178, and 179 on D.P. 67, and Lot 1 on D.P. 15488, being portions of Allotment 52, Tahawai Parish, together with Allotments 52B and 52c, Tahawai Parish, bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by Third Avenue, 875 links; towards the south-east by Lots 37 and 30 on plan 67, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and Major Street, 900 links; towards the south-west by Stone Street, Allotments 52A and part 52, Tahawai Parish, 947·2 links; towards the north-west by part Allotment 52, Tahawai Parish, 400 links; towards the north-east, north-west, and south-west by Fourth Avenue, 222·2, 100, and 250 links; and again towards the north-west by Lot 180 on plan 67, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, 400 links: Be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/33, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Murchison Domain.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 3rd day of May, 1938.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Arthur John Walter Bartlett,
John Downie,
James Burridge Milligan, and
Edwin Malcolm Brown
to be the Murchison Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the twelfth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Church Hall, Murchison, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
MURCHISON DOMAIN.—NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 18, Square 170, Village of Murchison: Area, 15 acres, more or less.
Also all that area containing 12 acres, more or less, being part Section 20, Square 170, Village of Murchison. Bounded towards the north by Sections 25, 24, 23, 22, and parts Sections 26 and 21, Village of Murchison; towards the east by Sections 33A and 17, Square 170; towards the south by Waller Street and part Section 20, Square 170; and towards the west by part Section 20, Square 170, Sections 34, 33, 32, and 31, Village of Murchison.
As the same are more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1/277, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
