Additional Land at Pokeno, taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and for Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land at Pokeno in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for road-diversion in connection therewith:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

0 2 24·5 Part Lot 31, D.P. 13817, of Allotment 246, Suburbs of Pokeno; coloured red.
0 0 10·7 Part road; coloured green.

FOR ROAD-DIVERSION.
Approximate area of the piece of land:—
A. R. P.
0 0 24·6 Part Allotment 206, Mangatawhiri Parish; coloured blue.
Situated in Block I, Maramarua Survey District, Franklin County. (S.O. 29405, blue.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5165, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of May, 1938.

Districts reconstituted under the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration districts known as the Rangiriri and Thames districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into two registration districts the names whereof shall be the Rangiriri and Thames districts, and the boundaries whereof shall be conterminous with the boundaries of the marriage districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908:
And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of April, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Marriage Act, 1908, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing marriage districts known as the Rangiriri and Thames districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into two marriage districts, the names and boundaries whereof shall be as follows:—
RANGIRIRI DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north by a right line, being the production in a westerly direction of the southern boundary-line of Section No. 106, Whangape Parish, in Block XIII, Onewhero Survey District,
