Royal New Zealand Air Force.—Appointments, &c., of Officers.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following appointments, &c., of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force:—

REGULAR AIR FORCE.

Appointments.

The following are granted temporary commissions as Acting Pilot Officers with effect from the 5th April, 1938, while undergoing training with the Royal New Zealand Air Force and are posted to R.N.Z.A.F. Station, Wigram Aerodrome, Christchurch:—

Flight Lieutenant Donald William Baird, R.A.F.O., is granted a short service commission as Flight Lieutenant (on probation) in the Royal New Zealand Air Force, and is attached to the Royal Air Force for a course of Instruction at the School of Photography, Farnborough. Dated 14th March, 1938.

Appointment relinquished.

Acting Pilot Officer J. D. Carmichael relinquishes his appointment. Dated 30th March, 1938.


ATTACHMENT OF OFFICERS OF THE ROYAL AIR FORCE.

The undermentioned officers on interchange arrived from England on the 6th April, 1938, are attached to the Royal New Zealand Air Force, and have been appointed as follows:—

Squadron Leader George Stacey Hodson, A.F.C., R.A.F., is posted to the R.N.Z.A.F. Station, Wigram Aerodrome, Christchurch, pending taking over command. Dated 8th April, 1938.

Squadron Leader Joe Davison, R.A.F., is appointed to Air Force Headquarters, Wellington, as Senior Equipment Officer of the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Dated 6th April, 1938.
