Changing Name of the Harbour known as “ Kioreroa,” County of Whangarei, to “Port Whangarei.”

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is considered expedient that the name of the harbour known as “Kioreroa,” in the County of Whangarei, should be changed to “Port Whangarei”:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the harbour known as “Kioreroa,” in the County of Whangarei, shall be and the same is hereby altered to “Port Whangarei,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such harbour accordingly; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of December, 1937.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Taupo County, containing by admeasurement 72,448 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks VI and IX, Tokaanu Survey District, Blocks VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Waitahanui Survey District, Blocks V, IX, and XIII, Maruanui Survey District, Blocks I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII, Ahipaepae Survey District, and Blocks I and V, Aripia Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the junction of the southern boundary of Tauranga-Taupo Part 2B 1 Block and the Tauranga-Taupo River in Block IX, Tokaanu Survey District; thence in an easterly direction along the south-eastern boundaries of Tauranga-Taupo Part 2B 1 and Part 2B 2 Blocks, the south-western boundary of Te Whataroa Block, the south-western, south-eastern, and north-eastern boundaries of Turutururoa Block, the eastern boundaries of the Tauranga-Taupo No. 3B 1B and Opawa-Rangitoto Part No. 2 Blocks, the southern boundaries of Te Whakao Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks, the eastern boundary of Te Whakao No. 2 Block, the south-western, south-eastern, and north-eastern boundaries of Kaimanawa No. 1E 2D Block, the southern boundary of the Tauhara South B Block, the south-western, south-eastern, again the south-western, again the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Kaimanawa No. 1E 2B Block, the southern boundary of Tauhara South A Block, the abutment of a public road, and again Tauhara South A Block; thence in a southerly direction along the western boundary of Kaimanawa No. 1C Block, the northern, western, and southern boundaries of Kaimanawa No. 1D Block, the western boundary of Section 1, Blocks IX and XIII, Maruanui Survey District, the north-western boundary of Section 2, Block XIII, Maruanui Survey District, again along the western boundary of the said Section 1 of Block XIII, Maruanui Survey District, and Blocks I and V, Aripia Survey District, and a public road to the Mohaka River; thence in a south-westerly direction along the Hawke’s Bay Land District boundary to the Ngaruroro River; thence in a north-westerly direction along the Wellington Land District boundary to the Tauranga-Taupo River and along that river to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan No. 54/6, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan S.O. 29510s.)

As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 86/4, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of April, 1938.

Revoking the setting-apart of Settlement Land in the Taranaki Land District for Selection by Discharged Soldiers under Special Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Amendment Act, 1919, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, the Proclamation made on the seventeenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, page 2189, setting apart the land described in the said Schedule for selection by discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.
SECTION 4s, Ratapiko Settlement (Block VI, Huiroa Survey District): Area, 94 acres 3 roods 21.4 perches.
Given under the hand of his Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of April, 1938.
