Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

I HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect to applications for licenses have been made.

Idiens, R. C. To resell motor-spirit at the Chatham Islands Waitangi, Chatham Islands Granted 4 April, 1938.
Percy, J. To install eight pumps at a proposed service station in Flora Road Lumsden Declined 4 April, 1938.
Ebbett Motors, Ltd. (1) To install two pumps at a proposed showroom and spare parts depot on the corner of Hood and Anglesea Streets
(2) To install two pumps at a proposed servicing station in Anglesea Street

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

(1) J. Jordan, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at Yaldhurst.

(2) F. G. Taylor, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his store at Kairaki Beach.

(3) The North Auckland Farmers’ Co-operative, Ltd., for permission to transfer two petrol pumps from behind the company's premises in Commerce Street to a position in front of the company's vacant section in Melba Street, Kaitaia.

(4) Fagan Motors, Ltd., for permission to group the company's three petrol pumps in front of its building facing Bannister Street, Masterton, and take over two petrol pumps from Ingley and Morris, Ltd., in Dixon Street and install them alongside the other three pumps.

(5) A. Newson, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his store at Wharepapa.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 21st April, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Taking of Fish.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

(1) F. W. Jane, for a license to take fish at Napier by means of a 36 ft. 30 h.p. launch, using long and hand lines and trawling, and supplying the Napier market.

(2) E. R. Hope, for a license to take fish at French Pass and Marlborough Sounds by means of a 30¼ ft. 8 h.p. launch, using set and drag nets, long and hand lines, and supplying the Wellington market.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 21st April, 1938.

Motor-vehicles Insurance (Third-party Risks) Act, 1928.

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 4 of the Motor-vehicles Insurance (Third-party Risks) Act, 1928, notice is hereby given that the Public Mutual Insurance Company of New Zealand has given me notice of revocation of its willingness to undertake insurance business in terms of the Act. The revocation will take effect from the 7th April, 1938.
