In faith whereof the above-named plenipotentiaries have
signed the present Treaty and have affixed thereto their
seals.

Done in duplicate in the English and Hungarian languages
at Budapest, the 18th day of September, 1936.

His Majesty has acceded to the said Supplementary Treaty
in respect of the Dominion of New Zealand :
And whereas His Majesty has been advised by his Ministers
in New Zealand to take the necessary steps to cause the said-
recited Acts to be applied in the case of Hungary in respect
of New Zealand in accordance with the said Supplementary
Treaty ;
Now, therefore, His Majesty, by and with the advice of
His Privy Council, and in virtue of the authority committed
to Him by the said-recited Acts, doth order, and it is hereby
ordered, that from and after the 14th day of March, 1938,
the said Acts shall apply in respect of New Zealand in the
case of Hungary under and in accordance with the said
Treaty of the 3rd December, 1873, as modified by the Declara-
tion of the 26th June, 1901, and by the Supplementary
Treaty of the 18th September, 1936.

This Order may be cited as the Hungary (Extradition : New
Zealand) Order in Council, 1938.

The Shops and Offices Act, 1921-22. — Amended Notice
Specifying the Combined District of Auckland.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 13 of the Shops
and Offices Act, 1921-22, I, Hubert Thomas Armstrong,
Minister of Labour, do hereby specify that the Combined
District of Auckland comprises the City of Auckland, the
Boroughs of Birkenhead, Devonport, Ellerslie, Mount Albert,
Mount Eden, New Lynn, Newmarket, Northcote, Onehunga,
One Tree Hill, Otahuhu, and Takapuna, and the Town Districts
of Glen Eden, Henderson, and Papatoetoe.

The amended notice, published in the New Zealand Gazette
of the 8th May, 1930, specifying the Combined District of
Auckland, is hereby cancelled.

Borough Council, is published in accordance with the
provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1936.

Notices of Results of Polls on Proposals to raise Loans.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,
I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Borough
of Westport taken on Tuesday, the 22nd day of March, 1938,
on the proposal of the Westport Borough Council to borrow
the sum of £10,000 for the purpose of tar-sealing borough
streets and footpaths, the following votes were recorded:—

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was . . 517
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was . . 119
The number of informal votes was . . . . . . . . . . . . 15

I, the undersigned, Mayor of the Borough of Westport,
therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the
Borough of Westport taken on Tuesday, the 22nd day of

to borrow the sum of £11,500 for the purpose of erecting a
new Town Hall and Municipal Offices also purchase of section,
the following votes were recorded :—

Rangiora County Council, is published in accordance
with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.

RANGIORA COUNTY COUNCIL.

Notice of Result on Proposal to raise a Loan.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,
I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the
County of Rangiora, taken on the 22nd day of March, 1938,
on the proposal of the Rangiora County Council to borrow
the sum of ten thousand pounds for the purpose of providing
the county’s share of the cost of consolidating and sealing
that portion of the Kaiapoi-Waddington via Rangiora High-
way as is within the county (known as the Skew Bridge-
Drain Road and the Oxford Road), and the cost of preparing
specifications, raising the loan, and meeting engineering
supervision expenses :—

The number of valid votes recorded for the proposal

The number of valid votes recorded against the

Declaring Areas to be Closely Populated Localities for the
Purposes of the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936,
Section 3.

IN terms of section 3 of the Motor-vehicles Amendment
Act, 1936, the Minister of Transport does hereby declare
the areas described in the Schedule hereto to be closely
populated localities for the purposes of the said section to
the intent that a person driving any motor-vehicle on any
road, street, or other place to which the public have access
therein shall be subject to the maximum speed-limit of
thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.

SCHEDULE.

SITUATED WITHIN BULLER COUNTY—

All that area adjoining and comprising the Westport-
Karamaea Main Highway No. 105, commencing at a
point 40 chains measured along the road in a southerly
direction from the Government Railway-crossing at
Granity, proceeding in a northerly direction through
Granity, Ngakawau, and Hector, and terminating at a
point 16 chains measured along the road in a northerly
direction from the Hector Railway-station, a distance of
approximately 3¼ miles ; also all that portion commencing
at the northern end of the Karamaea River Bridge,
proceeding in a northerly and westerly direction through
Market Cross and Karamaea, and terminating at the end
of the said main highway at Karamaea Post-office.

All those roads within Denniston Township including all
that portion of the Waimangaroa-Burnett’s Face Main
Highway No. 254, commencing at a point 20 chains
measured along the road in a westerly direction from
Conn’s Creek Bridge and terminating at the end of the
said main highway at Burnett’s Face.

All those roads within Millerton and Stockton Townships
including all that portion of the Granity-Stockton Main
Highway No. 253, commencing at a point 8 chains
measured along the road in a north-westerly direction
from the Millerton Library and terminating at the end
of the said main highway at Stockton Post-office.

All those roads within Seddonville Township, including all
that portion of the Mokihinui Bridge-Seddonville Main
Highway No. 602, commencing at a point 10 chains
measured along the road in a easterly direction from
Chasm Creek Bridge and terminating at the end of the
said main highway at Seddonville.
