Business.—To receive the liquidator’s account of the winding up and the disposition of the property of the company. To determine by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator shall be disposed of.

LOAN No. 15.

Special Order.

THE Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908, and section 48 of the Local Legislation Act, 1936, and their respective amendments, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve by special order :—

(1) To raise a special loan of and to borrow the sum of £4,500 for the purpose of meeting the expenses of investigating matters incidental to a proposed sewerage and storm-water drainage scheme for the Auckland metropolitan district, and refunding to No. 2 Account General Fund any moneys so advanced.

(2) That the said special loan of £4,500 be known as Loan No. 15, 1937.

(3) That the said loan shall be repaid by ten annual instalments of £450 each, the first instalment to be paid at the expiration of one year from the date it is raised.

(4) That the rate of interest payable in respect of the said special loan shall be £3 10s. per centum per annum.

(5) That the said special loan and the interest thereon shall be secured upon the Board’s General Fund and upon all contributions payable to it by and all rates leviable by the local authorities thereof to secure the payment of such contributions upon the City of Auckland (portion), and the suburban boroughs of Newmarket, Mount Eden, Mount Albert, and One Tree Hill (portion), and the Road District of Mount Roskill (portion).

The foregoing special order was made by way of a special resolution passed at a special meeting of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board convened by requisition of the chairman dated the 24th day of February, 1938, and held on the 28th day of February, 1938. It was publicly notified in the New Zealand Herald on the 4th and 18th days of March, 1938, and the Auckland Star on the 11th and 25th days of March, 1938. It was confirmed at a special meeting of the Board convened by resolution of the Board on the 28th day of February, 1938, and held on the 28th day of March, 1938.

The common seal of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board was hereto affixed this 28th day of March, 1938, in the presence of—
