DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between HENRY CECIL BRYANT and ERNEST RICHARD DILLICAR, carrying on business as Engineers and Motor-garage Proprietors and Motor-dealers at Whakatane, under the style or firm of “Bryant and Dillicar” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of December, 1937. All debts due and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by Mr. Ernest Richard Dillicar who will continue to carry on the said business.

WAITAKI ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Waitaki Electric-power Board at its meeting on the 15th day of December, 1937, resolved:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges of the loan of £30,000 to be known as “Extension Loan, 1937,” which the Waitaki Electric-power Board has resolved to raise, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth pence in the pound upon the rateable property on the basis of capital value of the Waitaki Electric-power District as defined by Proclamation dated 9th August, 1923: And that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan in the period of twenty-five years or until the said loan has been repaid: And that the said special rate be and the same is hereby appropriated and pledged as security for the interest, sinking fund, and other charges under the securities to be issued.”

NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in its minute-book on the 13th day of January, 1938, the above-named company passed the following special resolution:—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. CHARLES ALBERT ELSEY, of 173 Stuart Street, Dunedin, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

Ginn and Company, Limited (in Liquidation), will be held in the offices of Clarke, Menzies, Griffin, and Co., 102 Featherston Street, Wellington, at twelve noon on Tuesday, the 15th day of February, 1938, for the purpose of enabling the liquidator to lay before such meeting an account showing the manner in which the winding up of the company has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, of passing as an extraordinary resolution the following resolution:—
“ Resolved, that the accounts as submitted by the liquidator be approved and that the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator be retained by the liquidator for a period of one year from the date hereof, after which time they may be destroyed by the liquidator.”
