I HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect to applications for licenses have been made.

T. V. Scott To take fish at Nelson by means of the 15 ft. 3 h.p. launch "Weona" using drag-nets and hand-lines Tahunanui Granted 17 Jan., 1938.
T. Roberts To take fish at French Pass by means of the 28 ft. 5 h.p. launch "Fiji" using drag and set nets, long and hand lines French Pass Granted 17 Jan., 1938.
W. G. Little To take fish at Whangarei by means of the 26 ft. 10 h.p. auxiliary cutter "Turquoise" using set-nets and long and hand lines Onerahi Granted 17 Jan., 1938.

Olsen, J. To take fish at Port Chalmers by means of the 22.66 ft. 5 h.p. launch "Wren" using set-nets and hand-lines Port Chalmers Granted 17 Jan., 1938.
Hayes, F. J. To take fish at Haumoana by means of the 22 ft. 35 h.p. launch "Ping" using long and hand lines Hastings Granted 17 Jan., 1938.
White, A. G. To take fish at Wanganui by means of the 19 ft. 8 h.p. launch "Alecia" using hand-lines Wanganui Granted 17 Jan., 1938.
West, G. To replace the launch "Atua" with the 36 ft. 28 h.p. launch "Tarua" and to take fish at Tangaihi, Kaipara Harbour, by means of set-nets and long and hand lines Tangaihi Granted, subject to the "Atua" being deregistered 17 Jan., 1938.
Hall, F. E. To take fish and crayfish at Gisborne by means of the 21 ft. outboard motor-boat "Spray" using long and hand lines and crayfish pots, in place of a 14 ft. rowboat of the same name Gisborne Granted, subject to the row boat "Spray" being deregistered 17 Jan., 1938.

Carpenter, J. H. M., Ltd. To move one petrol pump from the corner of Crowhurst and Arthur Streets to the corner of Crowhurst and Station Streets, Newmarket Newmarket, Auckland Declined, as the establishment of a new reselling site is unwarranted 17 Jan., 1938.
McCarroll, H. To install one petrol pump at the applicant's butcher's shop at Taipuha Taipuha Declined 17 Jan., 1938.
Suckling, C. M. To install one additional petrol pump, making a total of three, at the applicant's store at Tai Tapu and move the pumps on to the main road Tai Tapu Declined 17 Jan., 1938.
Patel, D. P. To install one petrol pump at the applicant's store at Parawera Horotiu Declined 17 Jan., 1938.
